In the tradition of the famous Lomo and its intriguing history, Holga D allows for pictures which have a random quality. They witness a visual culture in which we seemingly give up resistance against the production of images and - instead - blend effortlessly into the proliferation and saturation of ever more images. Interesting concept! It reminds me of the stance that Deleuze took towards the interpretation of texts: instead of being timid and shy about the right interpretation and a proper craft of hermeneutics, he favors using them in whichever way it pleases and pleasures us to do so. - Link:
